Nordanå, Skellefteå

This year it is 31 years since a group of driven Skellefteå musicians took the initiative and started what is today Sweden's largest free music and culture festival, the Trästock Festival.

The driving force during these years has always been to create an opportunity for everyone, regardless of economic status, to be able to take part in the cultural folk festival Trästockfestivalen is. Everything is based on young people's commitment and willingness to make music and culture accessible.

Trästockfestivalen is Sweden's largest free festival. For two days, live music, performances, food, and other delights are served in the scenic Nordanå area in Skellefteå. As always, the festival offers both wide and narrow, nationally and locally, something for everyone simply.

From starting as a local affair, the festival has grown into a major cross-cultural event in the region and throughout the country. Everything is based and built on a commitment to music and culture.

More information about the event can be found on the website and on our Facebook page.
