Textilfest is a forum for textiles in northern Sweden and particularly wants to highlight local producers of textile materials and products.

Fair at Folkparken, Skellefteå
Here you can find materials from small-scale companies and local products in the textile craft field.
Yarns, fabrics, books, embroidery materials and sheepskins are just a part of everything at the fair.

13.00 - 14.00 Release party with Linda Blåfors Carlsson
Release party for the year's first issue of the fanzine Blåfors garn.
In the afternoon we get a visit from the podcast duo Hantverkshärvan from Umeå.
Ivar Asplund also visits Hantverkshänget during the day.
Feel free to bring your needlework and sit down for a while!

On Sunday, there is the opportunity to participate in workshops on various subjects, including knitting, embroidery, sewing, pattern printing and crochet. Guest teachers with different textile techniques as their specialty share their knowledge.
