Stage 1, Sara Kulturhus, Skellefteå

Newkid celebrates the start of 2022 with a brand new album and its first arena gig ever - "For all the times we could not gather" in Avicii Arena on January 22. Now it is clear that he will take the show further out into the country - with a long-awaited spring tour in 14 Swedish cities.

After a record-breaking 2020 to say the least with crazy acclaimed "Så mycket bättre" interpretations, two Grammy nominations (Artist of the Year, Pop of the Year), a P3 Gold nomination (Song of the Year), many new releases on the album charts and over 170 million streams, Newkid has spent all the more time in the studio in 2021. In March, the platinum-selling single "Aldrig haft någon annat val" was released and in the fall the beautiful song "Ingen luft mellan oss" which Newkid wrote together with the acclaimed artist and lyricist Ana Diaz.

In 2022, a lot will happen. On January 21, Newkid will release their fourth album - something that despite its melancholy will bring light and hope with a sound that is recognizable to even the newest listeners. The next day he steps into the Avicii Arena to bid on a long-awaited show called "For all the times we could not gather" - something he as a child could only dream of. Now it is also clear that he will take the show further out into the country.

"After the response we received and the fact that we will then have another album behind us, there is almost no choice but to continue to take revenge for all the times we could not gather around the whole country," says Newkid.
