The exhibition is a traveling exhibition, produced in the spring of 2020 in a collaboration between Sörmland's Museum, Östergötlands läns hemslöjdsförening and Skåne's hemslöjdsförbund.
The exhibition take place in the main building Nordanå

The exhibition is open: Tuesday-Thursday, Saturday-Sunday 12-16
The handicraft evenings will be in connection with the exhibition.

Wednesday 13/4 at 18.30-21 Handicraft evening
Together we try to split different materials that can be used for basket making. An experimental evening with baskets.
Tuesday 19/4 at 18.30-21 Handicraft evening
Braid paper like birch-bark. Of old posters, newspapers, etc., we braid baskets diagonally or straight-braided.
Wednesday 20/4 kl. 18.30-21 Handicraft evening
Same theme as 19/4

Textile basket, braided and sewn.

Crochet a basket. We tie nice baskets with yarn and recycled textiles.

The first evening we carve and attach sticks to a pre-drilled bottom plate.
The second evening we continue to braid the basket.
