Coffee, widows and entrepreneurship

Skellefteå museum, Skellefteå

"Should we take the bikes and ride to Oljeberget and have coffee?"

That's what the Bäckström brothers in Hjoggböle could say to each other in the 1940s when they took off their soccer jerseys and started pedaling. The fact that Houttama's patisserie in Innervik was just over 20 kilometers away was no obstacle.

Cafés in Skellefteå and in other places was of great importance during the 20th century, and in "Coffee, widows and entrepreneurship" you get to see pictures and cups, and take part of stories from some of the cafés in northern Västerbotten. NOTE! In swedish.
