Öppen scen - Mamma Signes minnen

Stefan Holmberg has published several books and on several occasions appeared on the Open Stage in Västerbottensrummet with his texts. Now, in the aftermath of Mother's Day, he gives voice to his own mother, Signe, who recorded her memories in 1974.

The geographical setting is villages within the parish of Vilhelmina in southern Lapland and the story follows Signe's memories from her childhood through a love story at a young age until she was forced to leave home for good due to external circumstances.
