From Broadway to Duvemåla is Sweden's most popular musical show and undoubtedly one of the recurring highlights of the year for all musical lovers! Here, big voices and big emotions collide in a string of pearls of the most loved hits from the world's biggest musicals - all performed by some of our best and most meritorious musical artists.

The performance, which the press called "the Diggiloo of musicals", saw the light of day in 2016 when singer and musical artist Viktoria Tocca booked the Berwaldhallen in Stockholm on her own initiative. What was initially intended as a one-off event grew quickly and is today one of Sweden's most successful stage shows - loved by critics and audiences alike.

The following soloists will participate in the 2023 Sweden tour:

Laila Adèle has been said to possess one of Sweden's most powerful soul voices. She has both released her own albums on the record label BMG and participated in Melodifestivalen. She has appeared in several musicals in major roles, such as Little

Shop of Horrors, Hairspray, Jekyll & Hyde and Legally Blonde. She was Tomas Ledin's sidekick in the show Skarpt låge and she also made the leitmotif A world full of life for the remake of Disney's blockbuster The Lion King in 2019. Most recently, we could see Laila in the role of Mary Magdalene in our production of Jesus Christ Superstar at Dalhalla.

Malena Tuvung has appeared in many musicals and played several major roles, including Fame, Grease, Jekyll & Hyde, My Fair Lady, Mary Poppins, Romeo&Julia, West Side Story and Crazy For You. In 2009 she played the lead role in the musical Cats at Cirkus in Stockholm and sang there one of the biggest hits in musical history of all time, Memory. She also got to perform it in SVT's Allsång at Skansen. In the summer of 2022, she was seen in the concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar at Dalhalla. Malena is also current with the self-written solo performance Evergreen - A tribute to Barbra Streisand.

John Martin Bengtsson is one of Sweden's "musical phantoms" and is probably the only one in the world who has sung both the title role in The Phantom of the Opera and Raoul in three different languages; Swedish, Danish and English. He has also played leading roles in a long line of musicals both in Sweden and abroad, including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fame, Cabaret, West Side Story, Les Misérables, Wicked and Beauty and the Beast. Most recently, we could see John Martin in the role of Karl-Oskar in Kristina from Duvemåla at Dalhalla.

Patrik Martinsson
has worked as a singer, actor and musical artist since the early 90s. He has appeared in musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Evita, Chess, Hair, Robin Hood – The Musical and Mamma Mia! In addition to his musical career, he has also participated in numerous theater, film and TV productions.

Harriet Jones holds an honors degree in classical singing from the Royal Academy of Music in London. For several years she played the lead role of Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera in London's West End and played the queen in Disney's feature film Beauty and the Beast. She has also appeared in leading roles in musicals such as Guys & Dolls and Cinderella, as well as as a soloist in concerts in Hong Kong, Germany and Thailand, among others.

Don't miss Sweden's biggest musical festival!
