There will be a unique international feature when the Italian pianist Francesca Tandoi, born and raised in Rome, makes a guest appearance with her trio. In the spirit of pianist Oscar Peterson, Francesca Tandoi combines swinging and melodic piano playing with personal and original jazz vocals. Her trio consists of the renowned drummer Frits Landesbergen, who has played with Toots Thielemans and Georgie Fame, among others, and Stefano Senni, renowned bassist with collaborations with Art Farmer, Lee Konitz and Randy Brecker, among others. Guest artist at the concert is Max Ionata, one of Italy's most prominent saxophonists.
