The exhibitions and the play and learning environment Barnsia are, as always, open on Sundays and, as always, entry to the Skellefteå museum is free. Fika will be available for sale.

SUNDAY 29 JANUARY
At 10.00–16.00 Swedish Tips round on the theme Life in the archives.
The tips round starts at the reception and is suitable for both adults and children, in swedish and english.

At 11.00–15.00 A person's memories
Workshop with the museum's educator Sandra Marklund. Puzzle a person's life based on various photos and documents and learn archival knowledge along the way.
Suitable age: 8–12.
Location: The educational area Köket, on the second floor of the museum building.

At 11.00–15.00 Crafts for the younger visitors.
Suitable age: 3–7.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 5
At 10.30–11.00 Sábmie – Saemie – Sápmi (IN SWEDISH)
Lecture with the museum´s archaeologist Therese Hellqvist in connection with the Sami National Day. No pre-registration required.
Location: Red stairs at Storsia, three stairs up to the museum. Lift available.

At 12.00–15.00 What is Sábmie?
Drawing activity for children aged 3-9.
Location: The educational area Köket, on the second floor of the museum building.

SUNDAY 12 FEBRUARY
At 11.00–11.30 Guided viewing of the Folk Movement Archive's (Folkrörelsearkivet) objects in Storsia.
With Elisabeth Wiklund. No pre-registration is required.

At 11.00–15.00 City building in Vilsevärlden (the Lost World)
Playful workshop for children and adults of all ages.

"A city begins to grow around Vilsevärlden's new factory. The city needs a name and a municipal council must be elected. The pages of the new daily newspaper echo empty. There's a lot to do".

Together we build a fantasy city of cardboard and paper, with room to explore urban planning and democratic values ​​in an easy and undemanding way.

As part of Pride Week at Sara Kulturhus, MAN and Skellefteå museum invite you to create pins and embroider messages of love on fabric bags. From 9 years and up.
Location: The Art Workshop at Sara Kulturhus.

The exhibition "Demokrati pågår" opens this Sunday. Free entry as always and refreshments will be available for sale.
