After over a decade, Brother John has become a recurring and well-known name in hip-hop's Sweden. With his roots in Umeå, he has helped shape today's music and guided the new generation of artists.
Without the help of major companies, after his second studio album "Drift" (2021), he has made it to the internationally known platform COLORSXSTUDIOS, started his own label Hoopdiggas and signed new artists.
After a summer consisting of critically acclaimed gigs in places such as Trädgården in Stockholm and a total shutdown of Stay Out West in Gothenburg (Way Out West), Brother John took on the role of organizer and curated three evenings at the Ferry Terminal in Stockholm. On stage you could see some of Sweden's biggest artists today, including Erik Lundin, L1NA, Becky And The Birds and JAQE.
Not only does Brother John have an incredible stage presence that captures the audience, but he has a sound that captivates and appeals to one. With that said, he is going on tour this spring with stops in both Sweden and Norway.

The music evokes many emotions - the insightful lyrics are easy to relate to and create a reflection in the listener. It's a blessing to be able to listen to music that can give off as much energy as Drift does.
