The story of a woman from a pathless country who went her own way instead of getting lost in the footsteps of others.

A music and narrative program about Mimmi Helamb, director, artistic soul and part of the secret resistance movement that fought in northern Sweden during World War II. A dangerous mission that later led to recognition from the US intelligence service. Mimmi was fearless, innovative and went her own way. She followed her heart and ignored what others thought and thought.

The narrator is the actor Harleen Kalkat, who now lives in Arjeplog together with her husband and musician Magnus Karlsson. Most recently, Harleen was seen as Önis in the critically acclaimed film adaptation of Kerstin Ekman's "Händelser vid vatten".
