With humor and liberating self-distance, Markoolio's presence in the Swedish artist flora has become a matter of course, not to say a necessity.

Since his debut in 1998, he has a string of hit songs such as "Sola och bada i Piña Colada", "Vi drar till fjällen" "Mera Mål" and "Ingen sommar utan reggae". Right now Markoolio is experiencing a renaissance and at Emmabodafestivalen 2018 he gathered up to 10,000 happy festival-goers in front of the stage! On December 7, 2019, 20 years after the legendary gig, Markoolio returned to the Globe and offered a big folk party.

Born in Finland, raised in Orminge outside Stockholm, and with a rare feeling for singing together, he spun into our lives. From being an artist to an actor and on to a phenomenon. An unstoppable machine. Marko "Markoolio" Lehtosalo is loved by everyone.
