With the slogan "Trallpunk, equality and solidarity", Lastkaj 14 has sailed up as one of the absolute most popular bands in the Swedish punk sky. Ever since the first album "On the other side of the horizon" was released almost 19 years ago, the hallmark has been razor-sharp lyrics, sing-along-friendly choruses and almost unreal fast drums. Over 20 million listens on Spotify make the quartet one of the most streamed Swedish punk bands ever.
There are few groups that have toured as frequently as Lastkaj 14 in the last 8 years. With a collection of songs in which "Håll højd", "Våra dar" and "Becksvart" act as standard bearers, the band has won fans and listeners in countries such as Sweden, Norway, Germany, Finland and Poland. Everything from sold-out concerts with 2000 in the audience to rehearsal gigs with 7 paying people has been done. No club, festival or basement is too small or big for a good dose of thrall punk.
There is no doubt that Lastkaj found a place in the audience's hearts, and this is what the band themselves say:
"If someone had said ten years ago that a Swedish thrall punk band would fill the big Nalen and sell out 700 tickets with more than 2 months left to the gig, most people would probably have started laughing and dismissed it as an impossibility. It feels absolutely magical that all the hours in the tour bus, sleepless nights on icy rehearsal room floors, canceled children's parties and broken relationships have not been in vain.
