Tonbruket

That the collective would be greater than the sum of its individual parts fits exceptionally well to describe Tonbruket. The musicality of the band members is already at a high level as it is. In the meeting with each other, something bigger is created, a sound world of its own that defies genre descriptions and which is best and most simply described as, Tonbruket.

Tonbruket consists of Dan Berglund on bass (E.S.T., Rymden), Martin Hederos on keyboard and violin (The Soundtrack of Our Lives, Hederosgruppen), Johan Lindström on guitar and pedal steel (Johan Lindström Septett, Rebecka Törnqvist, Elvis Costello) and Andreas Werliin on drums (Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Fire!).

On several occasions, Tonbruket has acted as a backup band for Ane Brun, both on record and on stage. The group released its debut album in 2010 and has won several Swedish Grammys for its albums. Tonbruket has also written music for theater such as "Mannen utan minne" and "Undertiden" which was staged at Dramaten.

Admission: approx. 30 minutes before the event starts.
