Last year's edition of The Soul of Christmas was a real smash hit with sold-out concerts around the country. This time, Samuel Ljungblahd brings new guests - Sandviken Big Band none other than Sarah Dawn Finer. It will be a Christmas concert with Motown-scented soul, gospel, jazz and Christmas classics.
Sarah Dawn Finer and Samuel Ljungblahd have sung together several times before and have really found each other in the musical meeting.
Last year, Samuel Ljungblahd released the Christmas album The Soul of Christmas, which included two newly written Christmas songs - Believing in Christmas and Gift of Love. For this year's tour, Samuel Ljungblahd and Sarah Dawn Finer have written a brand new song together.

Sarah Dawn Finer
Sarah Dawn Finer is one of our most popular and appreciated singers. She has sung at the biggest galas, for royalty and for over 200 million people in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. She also reaped success as a celebrated presenter for some of Sweden's biggest music programs, such as Melodifestivalen and So ska det låta and as a jury member in Talent. She has also been praised as an actress and has, among other things, played the role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Stockholm. Since December 2019, Sarah has also been her own record label boss and is currently up to date with the EP Songs For Comfort, the first in a series of Songs For... which is released via her own record label.
Samuel Ljungblahd
Samuel Ljungblahd is described as Sweden's uncrowned soul and gospel king. He has released several albums, toured and made a number of acclaimed appearances in various television productions over the years. Perhaps he got the most attention when he sang the exit march at the wedding of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. In front of tens of millions of television viewers and had the whole church, including the royal family, dancing and clapping their hands.
Sandviken Big Band
Sandviken Big Band is a band that has been playing since 1968. The band was formed by trumpeter Arne Eriksson who was the bands leader for many years. Sandviken Big Band has played with both national and international artists over the years, such as Thad Jones, Phil Wilson, Rich Mattesson, Deborah Brown, Bobby Shew, Georgie Fame, James Morrison, Robben Ford, Randy Brecker, Chuck Findley and Rob McConnel. Swedish artists that the band have collaborated with are Arne Domnerus, Ann-Kristin Hedmark, Cyndee Peters, Alice Babs, Svante Turesson, Roger Pontare, Nils Landgren, Victoria Tolstoy, Ulf Johansson, Claes Jansson and many more.
