Dad Harmony performs its first concert at Sara kulturhus!
Dad Harmony, the local a capella quintet from Skellefteå who captured the audience with their singing talent, are finally ready for their first own concert at Sara kulturhus. On December 26, the group takes the big stage and promises to treat the audience to their own favourite songs.
- We are incredibly happy that Dad Harmony is coming to us and giving us a nice end to the concert year 2023. The group's vocal strength and ability to create magic with their voices has given them well-deserved success both in and far beyond Skellefteå's borders. This will really be a concert to remember, says Lina Pettersson, booking manager at Sara kulturhus.
After an attention-grabbing clip, in which the five Skellefteå dads sing a capella, spread like wildfire on TikTok, the success has only continued. The number of followers on social media has now exceeded 3.4 million and the group's popularity has also reached beyond Sweden's borders.
-It's been an eventful year for us, and now we've finally taken the music out of the living room and onto the live stage, It feels great to be able to perform at home in Skellefteå, says Michael Åberg in Dad Harmony.
Dad Harmony consists of the five musicians: Peter Vidmark, Tomas Vidmark, Sebastian Åkesson, Adam Stenlund and Michael Åberg. They interpret well-known songs in a unique way in a family environment, sometimes with the help of a younger family member who contributes beautiful singing. In autumn 2023, Dad Harmony's most viewed interpretations on TikTok and Instagram, One Call Away, were released, also on Spotify.
