Journalists from Norran tell and answer questions about their mission.

For over 100 years, Norran has watched over the local community in Skellefteå, Malå, Norsjö, Arvidsjaur and Arjeplog. Journalism's conditions have changed significantly during this period, but our mission remains the same. This includes everything from reporting on major news events to digging into the background of political decisions, portraying the destinies of life, monitoring events in sports and culture and promoting social debate. Since February 2023, we also have news in English to contribute to integration in a growing Skellefteå.
