A musical portrayal of two young women's short but intensely passionate artistry.

During their careers, Amy Winehouse and Janis Joplin succeeded
captivate an entire world with their distinctive and soulful musicals
expression. Common to them was also the widely talked about darkness and
the blues, but what else really united these two women and what
sparked their passion for music?

With a careful narration and with a loving grip, Saga interprets
Eserstam and Åsa Granlund Jonsson together with musicians Hans Ericsson and Mikael Johansson some of Winehouse's and Joplins
popular songs. In this warm musical narrative portrait, the ensemble gives the music a new and highly personal touch.
