Thought-provoking lectures - A sustainable tomorrow

Kulturtrappan, Sara kulturhus, Skellefteå

How do we reduce the gap between what we know we need to do and what we actually do? Take part in inspiring lectures about how we together drive sustainable development when Skellefteå Municipality and Skellefteå Kraft present the Nordics' largest digital sustainability conference on the cultural stairs at Sara Culture Center on September 11. The event is free of charge.

The conference is called A Sustainable Tomorrow, is broadcast from Helsingborg, and is expected to reach roughly 20,000 people around the Nordic region. The theme for this year is dissonance - methods and examples to reduce the gap between what we know we must do and what we do.

Kristina Sundin Jonsson, municipal director in Skellefteå, opens the conference on-site in the cultural staircase, then the broadcast begins.

This year, among others, Maria Wolrath Söderberg, associate professor of rhetoric, Gurgîn Bakircioglu, lecturer and journalist, Andreas Magnusson, youth ambassador and Gustaf Skarsgård and Johan M. Reunanen will lecture who runs the podcast "In the twelfth hour", which sheds light on the climate crisis from an addiction perspective.
