Sustainable meeting places when society changes

Skellefteå

NOTE! In Swedish

Follow Mötesplat's social sustainability to Skellefteå and meet a society in rapid and tangible change. Here, the work for social sustainability is an integral part of the development work. The morning's site visit gives direct insight into meeting places for outdoor life, culture, and innovative housing solutions - all central to the city's transformation. During the afternoon, you get to participate in linking research and practice.

What lessons can we learn from Skellefteå's work, regardless of whether it is about switching up, adjusting or shrinking smartly with social sustainability as a guiding light? How can the work for social sustainability become the key to residents' participation and to social development being both sustainable and prosperous? Participate on site throughout the day, or digitally during the afternoon.
