Han kanski ha brutte baine

The City Library, Skellefteå

When Jörgen and his youngest daughter went up the ski lift on a ski slope, they amused themselves by saying to each other "Han kanski ha brutte baine" ("He might have broken his bone") in Pitemål about those who fell down the slope. That's where the title of this book came from.

Since the book had a great impact in Piteå, it has also been translated into Skellefteåbonska (The peasant language of Skellefteå) until this year. The book was read by Maj Degerstedt.
