How the hell are we supposed to do it?

Welcome into the mind of Björn Ferry!

When the countries of the world signed the Paris Agreement in 2015, it meant that global warming would be limited to a maximum of two degrees. In Storuman, Björn Ferry and his wife Heidi Andersson had both finished their elite ventures and were inspired to take on the challenge; "If all the countries of the world could agree to stop using fossil fuels by the middle of the century, surely it should be possible for individuals to get there sooner?"

The goal was for the family to become fossil-free by the year 2025. Since then, the couple has reduced carbon dioxide, changed their lifestyle and also tried to get their entire hometown on the climate-smart path in the SVT series "Storuman forever". Last fall, the book "Hur the hell shall we have it?" was also published.

Monica Lindgren meets Björn Ferry in a conversation about what is going through his head now. Will they reach their goal? What have they learned along the way? And can Björn really be the world's tallest? same?

We will get many answers - but Björn's question is still the same; "How the hell are we going to do it?"

Björn Ferry is an Olympic champion in biathlon, expert commentator, forester and private researcher. Together with his wife, arm wrestler Heidi Andersson, he is pushing for a green transition and the couple decided to become fossil-free by the year 2025. Read more at Fossilfri
