They debuted in 1994 with a song on a compilation album from A West Side Fabrication. Then it went quickly. Extensively played on Swedish radio, place at the major festivals, hits in Asia, tours and recordings in the USA, soundtracks for film and television. Meet The Drowners, one of the bands that set the tone in the 90s when the pop city of Skellefteå delivered worldwide.
In recent years, they have resumed musical collaboration. This evening they reunite at Berättarfestivalen under the title Musical Talks to tell about their successful adventure in the world of music. About driving forces, work processes and guaranteed some interesting anecdotes from these intense years. The conversation leader is Per Strömbro, who will, among other things, connect with today's theme at the Storytelling Festival - improv/in the moment.
Of course, we also get to listen to live music with The Drowners unplugged.
