Join Northern Sweden's Biggest Game Jam! Get ready to create at one of the most unique and cosy Global Game Jam sites in the world –we’re excited to welcome you back to Jörn!

From Friday through Sunday, let your creativity thrive in the beautiful, snowy landscapes of Jörn in Skellefteå Municipality. Hosted at the Jörn Experience Hotel, our jam site offers everything from a cosy fireplace to darts, bowling, and a bar in the evenings.

Here, you’ll not only make games but also enjoy an inspiring blend of work and winter wonderland.

What to Expect:

Friday, January 24

• 13:00 – Hotel check-in opens
• 15:00–18:00 – Indie Game Dev Skellefteå Summit
• 18:00–19:00 – Game Jam Kickoff: Form teams and start creating!
• 19:00–21:00 – Arctic Game Mixer: Mingle with the local game industry

Saturday, January 25

• 8:00–9:00 – Game Jam continues
• 16:00–17:00 – Mind Detonator visit

Sunday, January 26

• 8:00–15:00 – Final Game Jam session
• 15:00–16:00 – Game Project Pitch: Show off your game!
• 16:00 – Winner Announcement

FAQ

Who Can Join? Everyone is welcome! We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive and open environment for all.

Equipment: Wired and Wi-Fi internet are provided – don’t forget your network cable for smooth jamming!

Food & Drinks: Enjoy free energy drinks from Latitude 65 throughout the event. We’ll provide basics like fruit and sandwiches, but you’ll need to cover other meals yourself.

Skill Level: Everyone’s welcome – whether you’re an experienced jammer or just starting out. Come create, learn, and have an unforgettable time!
