An exciting jazz meeting around the music of the American bassist Ray Brown (known from gigs with, among others, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson). Hans Backenroth has been considered one of Scandinavia's foremost bassists since the mid-90s and has played with many of the greatest in jazz such as Arne Domnérus, Bengt Hallberg, Monica Zetterlund, Toots Thielemans, Sven Asmussen. Here Backenroth invites the percussionist in the Royal Swedish Orchestra Roger Svedberg to the tribute to Ray Brown. Roger Svedberg is not only a percussionist in the Royal Swedish Orchestra, but also a jazz vibraphonist, bandleader, arranger, composer, author and lecturer.

NOTE! Today there will be after work with both food and music. Food from 5:30 PM and music from around 6:30 PM.

Admission is regular Order at the door but if you want to eat you have to book in advance. Food is not mandatory, you can come and just have a beer or just hang out if you want.
