Magdalena Tyboni and Elin Selin together show works where images and design language are taken from the coastal landscape of Västerbotten.
Magdalena's art expresses a feeling, mood or a story. The basis for the motifs is nature with its color and shape, combined with her own life with family and dreams.
Elin Selin experiences artistic creation as both calming and very pleasurable. Meditatively letting the clay come to life between her hands while ideas grow into physical form on the wheel is a wonderful feeling! Elin shapes her ceramics by hand and is based in a studio thirty kilometers south of Skellefteå. Her upbringing in Norrland, and the proximity to the forest and the sea, is a great source of inspiration and something that is always present.
The exhibition runs from June 1st - July 31st.
