Participating artists
Camilla Caster is part of the artist collective Av4 (together with Stina Lundin, Ida Hansson and Gunilla Åsberg). The group created Veden värmen ljuset (The Firewood, the Warmth, the Light) in Vännäs (2024). “For many of us, trees – through firewood – are close companions. Sawing, splitting, carrying, stacking or lighting a fire. The wood gives us warmth and light, and we can gather around it – a safe place.” – Av4
Linn Lindström presents Händelse: 65.61919, 22.14739, a public artwork at Porsö Centre in Luleå (2023). The project was carried out in collaboration with pupils from Porsö School and grew from a jointly written book that served as the creative foundation for what later took physical form in the area – bronze figures and mirrored steel wall stencils.
Anastasia Savinova presents Womb Lake Egg, a sculpture made of mussel shells and installed in Lake Vomb in Skåne. The work is part of her long-term project We Swim in One Water, which explores connectedness through water on multiple levels. With its pearlescent form, the sculpture symbolises the origin of life, cycles, and moments of anticipation – a promise of something new yet to take shape.
Museum Anna Nordlander (MAN) works norm-creatively with issues of gender and identity, explored through contemporary art. Our focus lies on exhibitions, education, and developing the conditions for contemporary art in the Västerbotten region.
MAN is part of Skellefteå Museum AB and produces annual exhibitions at the SARA Cultural Centre. Our next exhibition opens on 14 February 2026 – more information coming soon.
