Käröleksplikt – Author Visit with Camilla Thompsson

Camilla Thompsson was born and raised in Skellefteå. Her debut novel, "Kärleksplikt," emerged when she began writing down memories after her mother's death. Her mother suffered from dementia, and for Camilla, writing the book allowed her to understand and forgive. Today, the memories of her mother are almost entirely positive. However, the book is fictional and inspired by the anecdotes that were recorded. It deals with secrets, betrayal, and pain. But there is also hope and the chance to create something new.
