Sara kulturhus , Hjortronet (f.d. Trappscenen)
With music, song, and words, we honor the memory of Meta Andreasson, Åbyn, Burträsk. She passed away in the autumn of 2024 after a long life devoted to writing poetry in Swedish and Bonnska. Meta published 12 books of poetry and was also active in the summer theater Kvarnspelet, which was performed in Skellefteå dialect for many years. Additionally, she wrote hundreds of wedding and congratulatory songs.
Meta received several awards for her contributions! She was awarded the Ernst Westerlund Prize in 2018 and also has a residential block named after her in Eriksberg.
We who have been active in her presence now want to honor her with words, song, and music.
Free admission but registration is required.
Participants: Blia, Carina Andreassen, Kvarnspelsgäng
