Many people know Ylva Hällen and Sara Edwardsson, two of Sweden’s most beloved performers in children’s entertainment, adored by at least two generations. They’re familiar from Bolibompa, Draken, Sommarlovsmorgon and as the authors of Förskolan Skräckis.
The book Ylva reads from in the show tells the story of Pyro, a super‑allergic little vampire. He can’t tolerate almost anything, only boring old blood juice, and he certainly can’t run out into the sunshine like everyone else. But what happens when Pyro decides to ignore all that and rushes outside anyway? Meanwhile, the Ghost is causing mischief on stage and is very eager to join the reading. The Ghost is Sara… but don’t tell anyone.
This exciting performance explores the challenge of feeling left out, as well as the joy of helping a friend and becoming a hero for a day. The story comes to life through images, sound and dramatization, all accompanied by original music, singing and dancing written by Klas Backman and the performers themselves.
