Storytelling walk - From Bryggarbacken to Nordanå

Join us for a storytelling walk along Strandgatan, where we explore stories of people, events and phenomena that have left their mark on Skellefteå’s history.

During the walk, highlights include the City Fire of 1888, the Skellefteå Southern Workers’ Association and the tar graders who inspected and controlled locally produced tar before it was exported. We also gain an insight into life and work along the river and the changes that laid the foundation for the growth of the town.

We meet by the fountain in the City Park and walk together along Strandgatan towards Nordanå. The walk lasts just over an hour.

The walk will be held on two occasions:
Tuesday 13 October, 11 am–12 pm
Thursday 15 October, 6–7 pm

Free admission, but registration is required. Please note that the walk will be held in Swedish.
