Welcome to a special winter week in Swedish Lapland, created exclusively for women who want to experience the Arctic in a personal and authentic way.
During five nights at Lapland Adventures in Dragnäs, you will discover snow-covered forests, frozen landscapes and the quiet beauty of the far north. The programme combines guided outdoor experiences with time to relax, connect and enjoy the simple pleasures of Lapland.
Depending on the weather and the group’s wishes, activities may include a dogsled experience, snowshoe hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, a reindeer visit, a traditional sauna session and evenings around the fire.
The week is designed for a small group of no more than five participants. This allows us to create a warm atmosphere, provide personal guidance and adjust the pace and activities to the group. No previous experience is required for the included activities, but participants should enjoy being outdoors in winter conditions and be prepared for cold temperatures and changing weather.
The programme is a flexible proposal rather than a fixed timetable. Safety, weather conditions and the group’s experience will always be taken into account. Some activities may be replaced or adjusted if conditions require it.

Other information
Accommodation & holiday house
The holiday house is rustic and authentic rather than luxurious. It is a traditional, nature-close accommodation where simplicity is part of the experience. Most of the house is heated with wood, so guests should be prepared for a genuine wood-heated living environment and changing indoor temperatures.
Inside the house there is one modern separating toilet. Water is provided in canisters rather than through a conventional indoor water system. Guests also have access to a separate guest bathroom with a shower.
Please note that this is not a luxury accommodation. The holiday house is ideal for guests who appreciate an authentic Lapland experience, a simple lifestyle and being close to nature.
Optional cabin rental
The traditional log cabin can be booked as an additional accommodation option for 2,500 SEK. Like the holiday house, the cabin is rustic and authentic rather than luxury accommodation. Guests choosing the cabin should be comfortable with a simple, nature-close setting and the practical character of traditional Lapland accommodation.
Activities & weather:
All activities are planned with flexibility and adapted daily to the wishes and needs of our guests. Depending on weather conditions and trail conditions, individual activities may be modified, rescheduled, or in rare cases cancelled at short notice. The safety of our guests and the well-being of the dogs always come first. In such cases, we will always offer a suitable alternative.
Physical fitness:
No prior experience with sled dogs or hiking is required. Activities are suitable for healthy adults with a basic level of fitness. Please inform us in advance of any relevant health conditions or physical limitations so we can plan accordingly.
What to bring:
Winter weather in Swedish Lapland can be very cold, and conditions can change quickly. Please bring several warm layers so that you can adjust your clothing throughout the day and stay comfortable during outdoor activities.
We particularly recommend wearing wool or silk as a base layer directly against the skin, followed by warm insulating layers. Warm winter boots and insulated overalls are provided, as well as protective over-mittens for the dogsled and snowmobile tours. You should bring thick wool socks, a warm hat, gloves or mittens and a balaclava or face covering. Some guests also choose to bring disposable or reusable hand and foot warmers for extra comfort during longer outdoor activities.
