The millennium-old ski found in Västanträsk in 1947 at a depth of 80 centimeters.
It is one of the country's best-preserved ancient skis.
There are two visitor sites for the Västanträsk ski: One at the find site where a monument with an information sign is located, and the other at the community center in Västanträsk where a full-sized replica of the ski is displayed during the summer months, May to September. In winter, the replica is placed indoors in the community center.
To reach the community center and the replica, take the northern entrance via road 364 into the village near the hockey exhibition. There is a sign.
