Christmas Town - A Gingerbread Exhibition

Welcome to Julstaden (Christmas Town) – an imaginative gingerbread exhibition created together with our visitors!

It has been a few years since Skellefteå Museum first invited visitors to take part in Julstaden. Since then, the exhibition has become a much-loved and eagerly anticipated tradition at the museum. The rules for building gingerbread creations are simple – let your imagination run wild!

In previous years, the exhibition has featured everything from a winter swimming event and an ice hockey rink to the Burrow from Harry Potter. What will we get to see in Julstaden this year?

One thing is certain – Julstaden is a treat for the senses! How about stepping into one of Skellefteå's most wonderfully fragrant exhibitions, accompanied by the sounds of "Winter Wonderland"?
