The gospel choir Mattias Lindqvist with Trinity from Skellefteå returns to Sara kulturhus for the third consecutive year with its own Christmas concert. On stage, Trinity will once again be joined by Skellefteå’s very own queen of soul, Cimberly Wanyonyi.

This year’s Christmas concert naturally features traditional holiday favourites, but also original songs and other material infused with a generous dose of soul, not least thanks to this year’s guest artist.

Mattias Lindqvist with Trinity has released two albums of original music. Over the years, the choir has collaborated with artists including Samuel Ljungblahd, David Lindgren, and Annika Wickihalder. Most recently, they performed together with Carola at the opening of SE26.

Trinity is often described as one of Sweden’s most experienced and well-rehearsed gospel choirs. Throughout the years, they have built a broad repertoire that combines original material with carefully selected covers. The choir has also toured extensively and performed in a wide variety of concert settings across Sweden.

Skellefteå-born Cimberly Wanyonyi became a household name after winning Idol in 2023. The following year, she achieved great success on the Diggiloo summer tour. She also made an impressive debut in Melodifestivalen 2026 with the song "Eternity", which finished in sixth place.
