Skellefteå Museum collects diaries and personal stories to preserve people’s own voices, both from the past and the present. On three occasions this autumn and winter, you can meet our archivist to learn more about the collection or contribute your own material.

What does an ordinary day in your life look like? What do you do, what do you think about, and what does it say about the time we live in?

By preserving people’s own words, we can give future generations an insight into what everyday life was really like, in both the small details and the ordinary moments.

On three occasions, our archivist Jörgen Andersson will be at Läroverket, Skellefteå Museum’s meeting place for local history, research and storytelling. Here, you can donate material, ask questions and get help if you would like to contribute.

For example, you can:

• donate diaries and letters belonging to you or your family
• write about a day in your life, whether eventful or ordinary
• learn more about how the material is cared for and preserved

Where?
Läroverket, just inside the entrance to Skellefteå Museum

When?
