Storsia is Skellefteå museum's main exhibition where you can follow the area's history from the Ice Age to the present day. The story of the people and life in Skellefteå, Norsjö and Malå is told through different eras.
The exhibition is located on the top floor of the museum's main building at Nordanå cultural area and covers 500 square meters. The story is constructed chronologically and divided into nine time periods, from 10,500 BC up to today.
Through objects, images, and environments, you gain insight into how people have lived, worked, and shaped the area through generations.
