Zero tolerance for violence starts with us - come and show that you care!
At Guldtorget, you can:
As part of A Week Free from Violence, we want to highlight everyone’s responsibility to prevent and combat violence.
We all have a responsibility for how we treat one another. By speaking out, reacting when someone is being harmed and refusing to accept abuse or assault, we can work together to create a Skellefteå where all forms of violence are combated and more people can feel safe.
Sweden has a ‘zero tolerance’ policy towards lethal violence against women, but the work towards a society free from violence begins much earlier – with ourselves and our determination never to accept violence.
A 'zero vision' begins with a personal zero tolerance in each and every one of us. We must never excuse, accept or turn a blind eye to violence. Together, we can make a difference and contribute to a society where consideration, moral courage and respect are valued.
Pop along to Guldtorget, pick up a symbol there and display it to show that you say no to violence!
