Art exhibition Peter Sundström: Re:paintings & new

Peter has long been one of Luleå's foremost watercolor painters. With his bright and transparent watercolors, mainly featuring landscapes, he lets the water and color flow in a fleeting and sometimes uncontrolled manner. For Peter, watercolor painting is a changing and ongoing process.

Recently, Peter has used watercolor in combination with mixed media and experimental materials to create free, vibrant images. He discovered that over-painting with white acrylic paint offers new possibilities, where figures and landscapes emerge independently. He displays enlargements of his original paintings that would otherwise risk cracking, in order to preserve and enhance the expression.

Vernissage Saturday, October 31 from 11 AM to 3 PM, with the artist in attendance. The exhibition is open Saturday–Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM and Tuesday–Thursday from 5 PM to 7 PM.
