ARTISTS TELL & workshop carve

At 1:00 PM, we will listen to two fantastic artists, illustrator Frida Stensmar and wood artist Elin "Trollkniv" Lundqvist Burlin.

Coffee and cake sales, as well as the exhibition of their works, are open from 12:00 PM.

Illustrator Frida Stensmar will share her process in creating the picture book "Five Little Forest Mice." Frida will bring some of her early, quick sketches as well as finished originals featuring the illustrations from the book. You are warmly invited to ask questions and gain insight into how a children's book is made.

Elin "Trollkniv" Lundqvist Burlin, wood artist, will talk about her journey into the embrace of trees. Trees as comfort and support in recovery, trees as messengers of environmental recovery, wood as an artistic expression.

"A quest for the roots at home, both as the person I am right now and also the roots that grow into the great weave where we all are one."

Author Lena Palmberg will also be present with her books.

After the lecture, there will be a short coffee break, followed by a workshop led by Elin.

The lecture does not require registration, but please register for the workshop at [email protected] or call 0916-10485.
