Skellefteå museum , Våning 2, Lilla museet
On 29 November, we’re not only celebrating the first Sunday of Advent and the opening of our gingerbread exhibition, Julstaden! You’re also welcome to join us for a creative workshop in Skaparsia. We’ll take inspiration from the Christmas tree and make our very own trees!
By the way, did you know that there’s a very old spruce tree trunk in Nordanå Park? The tree was around 270 years old when it blew down in a storm. Luckily, part of the trunk has been preserved, and you can still go and see it!
When: 29 November, 10 am–12 pm
Where: Skaparsia, floor 2, Lilla museet
Who: Children of all ages accompanied by an adult
The workshop is drop-in and free of charge.
We look forward to seeing you!
The gingerbread exhibition Julstaden is on display at Skellefteå Museum from 29 November 2026 to 10 January 2027.
