Welcome to Emergency Preparedness Week 2026!
Here are some program highlights at Sara Cultural Center.

Lecture: The Fire Department's Experiences from Ukraine with Per Larsson

Per Larsson is a fire inspector at the fire department in Skellefteå. He will share insights about the collaboration with Ukraine and the experiences gained through support initiatives and donations of rescue materials.

From 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM

Presentation with The Home Guard

The Home Guard consists of about 22,000 ordinary citizens who defend Sweden after work. They will discuss their organization and describe the application process, preparedness time, and requirements for applicants.

From 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Lecture: Preparedness Near the Frontline in Ukraine with Nenne Johansson

Nenne Johansson is a teacher in the vehicle program at Anderstorp High School in Skellefteå. He will share his experiences from Zaporizhzhia in Ukraine, where he visited schools, hospitals, and other critical community services near the frontline. He was on the ground to deliver Skellefteå's former book bus, which has been converted into a mobile health center.
