Cullberg has collaborated for the first time with Brazilian choreographer and dancer Renan Martins. In this immersive dance performance, he collaborates with Olof Dreijer, Swedish DJ, musician, and co-founder of the electronic pop group The Knife. A sizzling party that pulverizes the boundary between dancers and the audience.

“I am very romantic when it comes to dance. I love it; I believe it is important. I think it will save us from many things.” – Renan Martins

Guerilla is an immersive dance where heartbeat and movement become one. For there is nothing stronger than life, and the warmth and blood that keep the rhythm of our collective longing for freedom, touch, and justice. The boundaries between spectators and dancers dissolve to make way for community and togetherness. Here, the dance floor becomes its own microcosm where different voices and movements meet to create a dynamic whole.

The power of collective actions and artistic expressions, as tools for social engagement and change, are familiar themes for Renan Martins, as they are in Guerrilla.
