Hide n' Seek Music

Secret concert in the forest! Hide n' Seek Music is a live music concept with the inspiration of hide and geocaching, arranged in the Umeå region since 2022 and now for the first time coming to Skellefteå. At each concert we are at a new hideaway in nature, which forms the stage for an intimate gig where the audience takes on foot using coordinates.

How is it going?

The starting position will give you information about in an email, which is about 2 kilometers from the centre of Skellefteå in the nature area around Vitberget. You will take you by local traffic, car or bicycle. 30 minutes before the concert, you will receive a new mail with GPS coordinates, using these, you will now get to the secret concert venue.

Wear uneasy clothes, great shoes to wander in the woods, and be prepared for a fall evening outdoors! Bring your own document to sit on. This time the concert venue is not available with a wheelchair or stroller.

The coordinates will be dispatched on September 18 at 18:00, the gig starts around 18:30 (when everyone has found the hiding place). Bring coffee, we offer coffee!



The Winter
With the roots of Stora Lappträsk outside Kalix, Vera Winter has always worn her home in the music. Through five albums and collaborations with, among others, Petra Marklund, Bo Kaspers Orchestra, Emil Jensen and Staffan Hellstrand, she has grown an expression that moves between low-key indiepop, folk music and world music. In her lyrics, Norrbotten's landscapes and seasons, colored by the calix goals, sounds and languages heard in northern Sweden, sounds and languages, by the people who live there and by the silence in between. As if the landscape itself had an instrument to speak through.

Vera Winter’s concerts are stripped down with voice, guitar and storytelling in focus. It is warm, personal and hopeful!

MAGDA ANDERSSON
Magda Andersson is a professional singer, guitarist and songwriter from Röbäck in Umeå with thousands of live shows, four Swedish solo records and two in English. She is in addition to the solo projects front figure in the pirate crowd band Ye Banished Privateers and tours internationally with about 150 concerts annually. Her latest full-length "PM: Lossad was nominated in the View of the Year category at Manifestgalan. On two occasions, she has received the Arts Board’s scholarship for her musical work.

The live act is distinguished by great presence and emotional nerve with Magda’s singing voice and the painting texts in the center, all imbued with a western-bottnian sadness. Modern pop melodies with roots steadily in the vistradition.
