For more than four decades, Carola has been one of Sweden’s most celebrated stars. Since her sensational breakthrough with Främling in 1983, she has become an integral part of Sweden’s cultural heritage and has spent much of her life in the public eye. Now, she opens the door to a life that has long been portrayed by others and shares her own story, revealing the person behind the artist in an intimate and exclusive concert experience.

To mark her 60th birthday, Carola Häggkvist is releasing her first book. In her autobiography Jag är Carola, which tells the story of her upbringing and life up to 2002, Carola shares her own story for the very first time. As an extension of the book release, she will also embark on an extensive Nordic tour this autumn to meet her audience.

Together with pianist Will Oaks, Carola will combine music and storytelling to share the songs and moments that have shaped her life and career. According to Carola herself, the evening will be “intimate and personal, but above all very exclusive”, featuring songs not typically heard at a Carola concert, such as Krokodilbarnets längtan and Elvis Presley’s If I Can Dream, alongside some of her greatest hits, including Främling, Säg mig var du står, and Fångad av en stormvind.
