Make Democracy Great Again

Showing of the documentary film "Make Democracy Great Again" at the City Library.

The documentary film "Make Democracy Great Again" focuses on one of the most important questions of our time: will democracy survive?

Only 13 percent of the world's population lives in a democracy, and the trend is moving backward. At a global level, the democratic progress made over the last 30 years has been erased. Political parties are losing members. Far-right movements are on the rise.

In the film "Make Democracy Great Again," journalist and author Jan Scherman wants to show that the situation is critical. But he also aims to instill hope and demonstrate that there is a chance to reverse the trend.
