Monday, September 21: From the Internet of Things to How We Secure Digital Infrastructure As more and more systems are connected, both the opportunities and vulnerabilities increase. Christer Åhlund discusses the development from the Internet of Things, IoT, to today’s needs for cybersecurity – with examples from the research project ACE CyberSafe on how smart and connected buildings can be made safer. Tuesday, September 22: The Electrification of Society and the Transformation of the Energy System.
The energy system is undergoing a comprehensive structural transformation. agreements and a changed geopolitical environment. In this lecture, Petter Johansson discusses his insights on the development of the coming years, as well as what is being done within the Arctic Center of Energy to positively influence this development based on our local strengths in northern Sweden.

Wednesday, September 23: From Forest to City – The Role of Wood in Future Construction
Wood is one of our most important renewable materials and plays a central role in the transition to a more sustainable society. But how can research contribute to the development of new wood-based products and better utilize forest resources? In this lecture, you will gain insight into current wood research and how it contributes to future buildings, cities, and climate-smart community development.
