Pianomania Nordica concludes its first year at Sara Kulturhus with a visit from American pianist Steven Mayer, one of today's most versatile and expressive pianists. The series, led by the internationally renowned pianist, composer and educator Niklas Sivelöv, has throughout the year offered intimate, richly resonant and personal concert experiences featuring outstanding international artists.

As the fourth and final guest of the season, we welcome Steven Mayer, an artist who moves effortlessly between classical music and jazz. Regarded by many as a living legend of the piano world, Mayer is celebrated for his remarkable versatility and broad musical range. The New York Times has described his playing as “piano playing at its most awesome,” and his recordings have received widespread acclaim from the international music press. During his visit to Skellefteå, he will present an all-American program reflecting his deep connection to the rich traditions of American music.
