Skelleftebygdens Lucia - Kusmark

A bright and atmospheric tradition that spreads warmth in the winter darkness.

For the 69th year in a row, the Skellefteå Lions Club organizes Skelleftebygden's Lucia. During the Advent season, the Lucia procession visits several churches around Skellefteå and offers atmospheric Lucia singing and a moment of community.

The tradition is not only about spreading light and Christmas spirit but also about making a difference. All collections go directly to Lions Cancer Research in the North.

The Lucia celebration concludes on December 13 with the traditional crowning of Skelleftebygden's Lucia in Landskyrkan. The crowning is conducted by Norran's editor-in-chief Malin Christoffersson.
