Tell a weave - exhibition

Welcome to an exhibition of weavings, an exhibition that has come to fruition through a collaboration between the Västerbotten Weavers and the Skellefteå Storytelling Association.

The exhibition “Tell a Weave” is the end product of the project “Tell a Weave” where weavers and storytellers have inspired each other throughout the autumn.

“Weaving and oral storytelling are two of our oldest art forms. Both art forms are, in themselves, a craft – oral storytelling brings to life and gives a thousand images with words, while weaving is a fantastic craft to master that can be created for both utility and pure pleasure to behold.”

The Västerbotten weavers participating in the exhibition are:
Lina Lidén, Helena Styrbjörn, Barbro Persson, Veronica Bjuhr, Ulla K. Holmström, Eva Holmkvist, Astrid Holm, and Sara Norberg

The exhibition opens on October 17th at 1:00 PM. Runs until November 1st.
